Evening Walk

Overview

Size: 33 x 41 x 1,8 cm
Year: 2024
Technique: Oil on canvas

When I lived in East Midlands, England, I used to go for long walks. This painting is heavily inspired by this one street I walked with a friend of mine during a peaceful sunset.

On that moment, it felt like the world was still. Sometimes I miss that life, the simplicity, living with friends and having created the life just how I wanted. When I finished this piece, I shed few tears. I was told it means I have succeeded with the painting. I think that person was right.
